Talk-in Frequencies:
Talk-in Coordinator: As in years past, Travis County ARES will supply the Talk-in operators wishing to gain Net Control experience. This is a great way to gain some Net Control experience and learn how to run an informal net. To volunteer please contact Dallas by email KD4HNX or cell 560-9074. Tailgate Security: We need 3-4 volunteers to do a 1-2 hour shift and take charge of the tailgate parking area. They are to ensure that the parking spaces are reserved for tailgate sellers and that as long as there are more tailgate sellers waiting to sell their goods know one is to abandon their vehicle in the tailgate area. The Tailgate Security volunteers secure once the last tailgate seller is in place or 11:00 whichever comes first. Tailgate Security and Overflow parking are to monitor 444.100 and direct Talk-in request to 146.940. Parking Overflow: We need 4-5 volunteers to do a 1-2 hour shift and take charge of the overflow parking area in the Home Depot parking lot. They are to ensure the hams parking in the overflow parking spaces and direct them to where the Shuttle Bus pickup point is and when it is due to arrive/depart. Overflow and Tailgate Security are to monitor 444.100 and direct Talk-in request to 146.940.
